Do you have the motivation to support a year 6 child who has specific speech & language needs until July 2010? Hampton Primary School are looking to employ a flexible, committed and hardworking individual. The successful applicant will need to have high standards of work ethic in terms of motivation, personal presentation, punctuality, professional standards and team work, as well as the ability to relate positively to young people and colleagues and have a positive sense of humour. They must be able to follow instructions but also work by using their own initiative. It is essential that applicants have good literacy/numeracy skills (at least to Level 5 of the National Curriculum), speech & language training, and should preferably hold an NVQ3 teaching assistant qualification. Hampton Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced CRB disclosure.
