A Field Officer is required to work as a key part of Kent Youth Service’s partnership with the voluntary sector. You will offer local support to small voluntary youth clubs and organisations through visits and advice, as well as keeping the local manager informed on important local issues and initiatives involving young people in the 12-20 age range.

You must be able to work during the evening. The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner is essential as some clubs and groups meet in rural settings.

Kent Youth Service is committed to safeguarding young people, and this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Criminal Records Bureau.

Interviews will be held in the evening 2nd September 2010.
